This post kind of sounds like a Mary Poppins song but I thought it would be fun to share some of my absolute favourite things that i have been doing or using this November !
1. Beauty and the Beast - this has been the main focus of my November . No, and i'm not just taking about the Cake ! I performed in this production in my local school and I have to say- it was absolutely incredible ( if I do say so myself ). School shows are just memories that last forever , right !? That hype that you feel when performing is not just heightened because of your young age but also by the fact you are with your very best friends . The performance feels utterly spectacular and the show really lends itself to a school , large scenes such as the village scene , the pub scene and 'Be Our Guest' create an amazing ambience unlike any other . Getting involved in school activities is an important part of school life creating unforgettable memories that will stay with you forever.
2.Mince pies - oh no this might be a bit of a guilty November favourite seeing that it is slightly too early for Christmas treats but I seriously can't get enough of them . I mean ,who can resist a mince pie ?!? Honestly , I'm usually not much of a fan of the shop bought kind but recently we have been buying some of the Waitrose shortcrust mince pies and they taste so similar to the homemade kind . It must be because the excellent shortcrust pastry , yum so buttery ! They are the best warmed up in the oven with a dash ( or a tonne ) of brandy butter.
3. bobble hats - oh yeah , England has been so cold these past few weeks so a woolly hat has been extremely necessary on the day to day . I even bought a new one the other day , its white and super soft , my other two seem to have got lost since last year !
4.Doc Martens - These are my staple , I think that anybody who knows me knows that I have a love for these boots . I wear them every single day because they are so incredibly comfy. I would recommend that everyone had at least one pair. My pair in cherry red are my favourite - and the best thing about them is that they look really good a bit worn and battered.
